AlphaOmega Bookstore & Publisher is a simple idea for artists of all kinds. Artists can get their works published inexpensively. Works include, but are not limited to novels, short stories, graphic collections, poetry collections, photography collections, software collections, novellas, galleries, and any art that can be sold via an Internet download process. 

AlphaOmega Bookstore & Publisher was started to make it easier for good artists to get published via the electronics/Internet medium. This also allows the discriminating shopper to purchase works inexpensively and quickly. A lot of the works offered here can not be found anywhere else. We think that the paper publishing houses will eventually become secondary to online publishing. We also believe that we are one of the few to realize this future of publishing.

History of AlphaOmega Bookstore & Publisher

Back around the time of the big bang, there was a webring created for lots of people of the same mind. These people were mostly artists with words, graphics, programs, and the Internet. Larry Shaffer created Circle of Friends WebRing. When he needed help to run the growing and very popular webring, Shay came to the rescue. A friendship developed that made the Circle of Friends WebRing even more popular and unique. Then Larry proposed an idea to Shay to publish all sorts of things on the Internet. Artists could publish their art from a new and exciting media, while the customer could find inexpensive art on the Internet. After a bunch of email back and forth, Larry and Shay joined up to create a joint venture called NetPublishers. Larry would provide the publishing house services, while Shay would do the hard part. Shay created an outstanding website to host NetPublishers.

Then AlphaOmega Bookstore hit the Internet. This store at first listed only literary artworks of L. E. Shaffer, but soon other artists were offered there as well. Larry and Senaka La Palme worked to evolve the two concepts into AlphaOmega Bookstore & Publisher [AOB&P] which combines the best of both sites into one super store and publishing outfit. Senaka masterminded the franchise template that is used by all AOB&P outlets. He maintains the master template and offers customer services to the owners of same. We no longer offer or support franchises.

Larry's past life was 25 years in the US Navy as a naval officer. He is now retired happily in the Florida Keys. Larry Shaffer is a New York published SF/Fantasy novelist and free-form poet. His "Tears from Ao" and "The Mountains of Ao" novels, which is the first two novels in a series of novels, is offered for sale right here at NetPublishers. Shay Harding runs Digital3 and provides a host of services. He writes very nicely and mostly traditional poetry. His mastery of CGI has been very important to the continued operations of NetPublishers. NetPublishers has since become part of the AlphaOmega Bookstore & Publisher websites and company.

Senaka La Palme is an expert at web design. He is even better at writing horror literature. His Stephen-King-like material graces our stores. Senaka is currently working on yet another novel and will soon shop it around among the print media circuit. We are sure we will also get to offer his work and future works here at AOB&P.
