Runes of Ao/Kale Book of the ManyThe Book of the Many contains the multitude of stories on great individuals and epics of all the Gathering. The Gathering refers to actions taken in concert with Ao either as individuals or as a race. The terms the Many and the Gathering have extra significance in times of great danger. There seems to be the power of Ao there. There are other races mentioned as well. The Kalians believe all fall under Ao. Although this book reports the adventures of individuals, there almost always is help from the Gathering. We believe that the Many is all of Kale without regard to time, while the Gathering is the race that now exists in this strata of the infinite universes. On the Plains of Mar, when Kale was young and at the beginning, spirits walked the mists from the thermal pools. The moons rose above the peaks of the Mountains of Ao with thunder rolling down into the hills and valleys. And there upon sacred ground a birthing ceremony was announced by priests old and new. The eagle flew high having observed its mate drawing first breath and first thought. Marjon was named that night amidst a small dome by great willow trees. The breath of Ao rustled the trees nearby as song broke out among the Many. Marjon was alone the next day. The sun rose to zenith and warmed the dome. Marjon was a silent baby full of prayers and happiness. He brought hope to the Many and set in motion events stretching across eons. What had been one, singular and focused, began to fracture. The second day Marjon sang the universal song of Ao, what no young one could know or should sing. Priests were amazed and prophets began to see clearly the future ahead. The evil yet to come could not match the good already done. The third day dawned bright and clear. <=== Book of EternityBook of LifeBook of StarsBook of MysteriesBook of the KyBook of Song Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, thank you for hearing me. You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so they will believe you sent me." Then Jesus shouted, "Lazarus, come out!" And Lazarus came out, bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, "Unwrap him and let him go!" [NLT] |
