I'm the Maniac, and, yes, I am a real human bean! I'm retired and very busy. So when I pick a site of the month, I want you to hop up and down on two feet. Any and all web sites are eligible provided they meet the minimum listed in the first paragraph. Don't worry about any deadlines. If any sites get nominated or voted for and it is past the current deadline, I will put them in for next month. Eligibility is good from the date you were first nominated. At the end of the year, one of our twelve winners will be favored with my pick of the year. I, the Maniac, make the final determination of who the winner is. I have no magic formula. I have received a lot of email about our awards. Thank you. I never thought that such a little thing would stir such excitement. I know it is a lot of fun for me and the cats to surf the net looking at such great sites. Everyone's home page has been a joy for us to visit. We do have to caution, though, that we are unable to give out awards and free prizes to everyone who applies. Over the years we have seen out award applications increase to the point that we must regrettably give out awards and free prizes only to a very few. We limit our winners each month to five or six per month per award, but we sometimes award fewer winners based on quality concerns and so forth. We hate to limit the numbers of winners, but our staff are way overworked with applications processing and, of course, other work associated with our companies. I know that you all will understand. You may apply for our awards once per year per website. Thank you.  

Winners and honorable mentions get the satisfaction of being recognized by me and get my personal stamp of approval. You also get a graphical picture of a planet and moons that will link back to my home page. Yet if that isn't enough, you get a graphical link to your home page from this site. You want more? Okay, by special arrangement with the the cats that live with me, you get your pick any one electronic artwork at AOBP. This is all free! The cats tell me we are rich in creative property but poor in cash. As long as I get cat love/purr time, I am not worried.
