WordArt: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Poetry, & More
- This section contains links to original work from my novels published, in progress, and planned. Most of the poetry relates to the novels. Feel free to read, enjoy, and make suggestions, comments, or criticisms. Remember that all this is copyrighted creative property. You may not copy, reproduce, or paraphrase any creative property contained in this section without express, written permission of the author, which is me not the cats. Violators have been and will continue to be prosecuted. Now that the lawyers are satisfied, please read and enjoy. Don't hesitate to email your opinions good or bad. The email form link is at the bottom. I take constructive criticisms well. Any email about my creative property becomes the property of my company. These will be used to make my work better. A little treat for my fans. Scroll all the way to the end to see a likely picture of the character called Panther appearing in all the novels thus far and the ones planned. Much appreciated if you sign our guestbook before you leave for other wacky NET sites [sign or view] (if you sign our guestbook leaving your email and web address, you may get an award and a prize).
- I won't put complete works here, as it would encourage violations of my copyrighted works. So come back often to see this section as it changes and grows. If you would like something you wrote featured on this page, email me for instructions, and it will be listed here attributed to you, of course. There are guests poets featured on the Poetry pages and guest artists featured on La Palme, Wilson, Young, and Hateley pages. I am willing to help anyone with their work, as I am just as willing to accept help.
- An open invitation is extended to any literary artist who would like to help write the twelve books of the Runes of Ao/Kale. You would be credited for any work but all creative property would be exclusively owned by Shaffer Novels/Poetry Company. No one makes any money off this project as all the output will be exclusively published on this website. Go HERE! to find out some of the details and see the index of the twelve books. The twelve books are as follows:

- Book One Tears from Ao Chapter One and Two are found by going to the link below. There are twenty-two chapters in all. This first novel was published by a New York publishing house. I am a lot better since this novel was published. This novel has been reworked recently to make it better. I am an author never satisfied with his work. So here is chapter one and two of the latest version. There are parts here not contained in the original hardbound book. The new, improved version of Book One Tears from Ao is now available electronically at AlphaOmega BookStore & Publisher.

- Poetry is an integral part of my work. The Kalians have race memories that stretched back to the beginnings of the galaxy. The Runes of Ao contain many such poems. One of those is "To the Mountains" which is on the first poetry page. I have many of my poems published in various North American anthologies. The two poetry collections are covered by US Library of Congress Copyrights TXu 855-635 and 855-636. Please enjoy our guest poets sprinkled throughout both pages. I enjoy writing poetry, but I have to be in the mood. Music seems to put me in the poetic mood. Too much of my poetry is sad, and I am not a sad person. Actually, I am an optimist. One of those bright lights morning people squint at.

The Writer's Journey (rail) West East Click center of rail go to junction 20Seeing their faith he said, ‘My friend, your sins are forgiven you.’21The scribes and the Pharisees began to think this over. ‘Who is this man, talking blasphemy? Who but God alone can forgive sins?’22But Jesus, aware of their thoughts, made them this reply, ‘What are these thoughts you have in your hearts?23Which of these is easier: to say, “Your sins are forgiven you,” or to say, “Get up and walk”?24But to prove to you that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins,’—he said to the paralysed man—‘I order you: get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home.’25And immediately before their very eyes he got up, picked up what he had been lying on and went home praising God.26They were all astounded and praised God and were filled with awe, saying, ‘We have seen strange things today.’ The New Jerusalem Bible: Reader’s Edition, (New York: Doubleday.) 1990. |
