A long time ago we needed to address the requests of the fans of novelist
and poet, L. E. Shaffer. The GeoCities website was created to satisfy the
desires of the fans. They wanted to know more about L. E. Shaffer and sample
some of his literary artwork. After that we developed several versions of
bookstores to sell artwork of artists. We provided the opportunity for artists to
publish their artworks whether they were new artists or old salts. Ebony and Abby, the
famous cats, produced separate websites that showcased their funny and
interesting lives, as well as displayed unique art like dragons and awards. This
led to the birth of this domain which incorporates all the previous sites. We
now have a bookstore and publishing website at this domain along with the
original fan website. Even the two cats have their websites here. The purpose of
this domain is to accommodate the fans, artists, and casual browsers. You may buy
and sell any kind of artwork here, as well as explore the many odd and
interesting things for fans. The two cats will entertain you and your children.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy your visit at our domain and come back often.
Below is just a little of what is offered here:
- To move around our pages, you
only need to remember a few simple things. On any page use the browser's back
and forward buttons, especially if you can't find links to go to the next
logical place. The best way to move around is to find the links
on all pages at the top and bottom. These links support the current topic of
the page that you are on and thus will be different for each topic group. Special pages will have a text link to
back out or will display the "Previous" "Index"
"Next" links for pages in a sequence.
- I am known as Maniac in the CB and Internet
world. My fans wanted a website about me and my literary work. The Runes of Ao site is dedicated
to them and to helping others write novels and/or poetry. I am a New York
published SF/Fantasy author and free-form poet. Included on the Runes of Ao
site are some old
and new of my works. All of the The Shaffer Journals are available.
Checkout our guest authors and guest poets on the SF, Fantasy, Poetry
pages.
- Please sign our guestbook, before you depart for parts unknown and
mysterious. Text links to sign or view our guestbook are included on most pages.

13Next they sent to him some Pharisees and some Herodians to catch
him out in what he said.14These came and said to him, ‘Master, we know
that you are an honest man, that you are not afraid of anyone, because
human rank means nothing to you, and that you teach the way of God in all
honesty. Is it permissible to pay taxes to Caesar or not? Should we pay or
not?’15Recognising their hypocrisy he said to them, ‘Why are you
putting me to the test? Hand me a denarius and let me see it.’16They
handed him one and he said to them, ‘Whose portrait is this? Whose
title?’ They said to him, ‘Caesar’s.’17Jesus said to them, ‘Pay
Caesar what belongs to Caesar—and God what belongs to God.’ And they
were amazed at him.
